NovusMicro is a consortium of skilled technicians, system engineers, webmasters, trainers and programmers available to assist you or your company with it’s technology needs.
Started in January 2002 NovusMicro is part of NovusNotio, L.L.C. based in Greenville, NC. Founded by the need to assist area corporations and small businesses in their temporary technology needs.
Principle Owner, Fred Austin worked for an exemplary locally owned and operated company who provided similar services as a trainer, consultant, Apple® Specialist, and Microsoft® Certified Professional for ten years until the owner’s sale of the company at the beginning of the new millennium. The new owners changed their strategic model and focus towards metropolitan enterprise clients. This created an opportunity for NovusMicro to provide technology services to those previous clients that did not meet the new firm’s goals.
Novus Notio is roughly translated from Latin as New Idea. The personal computer revolution and the hardware that followed during the late 20th Century were often called Micro-Computers, hence the name NovusMicro as a derivative of the “micro-computers” and “new”.
While managing a small business in the early 1980’s it quickly became evident, to Fred, that these new technologies and the birth of “Desktop Publishing” was going to truly revolutionize the way businesses operate. He then discovered the level of productivity from individual employees skyrocketed as long as they were able to learn how to leverage these new tools in a timely manner. NovusNotio then began it’s journey helping clients in Eastern North Carolina make business decisions and track advertising campaigns using some of this technology.
